Introduction


    在如今互聯網高度發達及數字技術高度滲透的“超鏈接化”背景下,新型的藝術實踐是否能利用起互聯網思維和數字化工具來將傳統地域性文化帶回到當代和全球尺度討論中去?本次分享會通過介紹駭人聽聞!Hyperbation!的過往項目及目前正在進行的項目的創作方法及方法論來探討利用“極限主義(Maximalism)”思維和互聯網領域的“敏捷開發方法論(Agile Methodology)”來進行“超本地”的“數字游牧藝術實踐”。

About Hyperbation!


    駭人聽聞! Hyperbation! 是一個跨學科藝術實驗項目,由英國建築聯盟學院校友強家棟和英國格林尼治大學校友謝明炫發起。
    駭人聽聞是一系列介於虛擬空間與物理空間之間的“多重現實”建築實驗。它致力於研究并重新定義“超遊戲化”,“超鏈接化”,“超本地化”,在持續藉助文化與科技工具的“修補術式”的運用中,它將施行“極限主義”并探討一種另類的“超級新自然主義”。
    駭人聽聞嘗試創建一種新型建築與藝術思維,完全打破并抹除傳統物理與虛擬空間邊界并引出“超級索引化研究方法”,運用于藝術,建築,人類學等。


Hyperbation is formed by Pete Jiadong Qiang and Mingxuan Xie as an art duo. 
Hyperbation is a series of multi-reality architectural experiments located between physical and virtual spaces, which expands the notions of gamification, hyperisation, hyperlocalisation. It constantly investigates and practices on cultural and technological tools to the ultimate limit. This ''Maximalism'' approach strives for an alternative hyper nature.
Hyperbation tries to create new architectural epistemology that erases the physical-virtual boundary and introduces hyper indexical design research approach on contemporary art, architectural, anthropological and technological media practices.

    我們特別邀請各位探險家參加位於倫敦肖迪奇秘密洞穴內的空間藝術實驗 駭人聽聞 Hyperbation: CAVE。這是一場將迄今為止駭人聽聞的主要作品歸檔後再混合,再創作,再探索的秘密多重現實遊戲體驗。
    駭人聽聞是一系列介於虛擬空間與物理空間之間的多重現實建築實驗。它致力於研究並重新定義超遊戲化,超鏈接化,超本地化,在持續藉助文化與科技工具的修補術式的運用,它將施行極限主義並探討一種另類的超級新自然主義。

We invite all adventurers to join this spatial experiment, Hyperbation: CAVE inside a secret basement in Shoreditch, London. This is a secret multi-reality spatial game, that is remixed, recreated and rediscovered from previous Hyperbation projects.

    我們特別邀請各位玩家參加於建築聯盟學院(Architectural Association)2018年畢業典禮中進行的空間藝術實驗 駭人聽聞 Hyperbation: AA Zoo School 。

    這是一場介於物理空間與虛擬空間的交互測試,它將把超鏈接化,超遊戲化以及超本地化的新興思考推向極致。

    經過對建築聯盟學院長久以來以狂放不羈聞名的檔案的特別研究以及重新解讀,從前建築聯盟學院校長 Alvin Boyarsky 在1978年騎大象環繞貝德福德廣場(Bedford Square)開始,駭人聽聞 Hyperbation: AA Zoo School 將重新創造 超級材料(Hyper Material)於虛擬貝德福德廣場中,並與畢業典禮以及畢業展(Projects Review)並置,在6月22日下午4點開始進行一場狂放不羈的實驗遊戲。


All guests to the AA Graduation Ceremony are invited to participate in Hyperbation: AA Zoo School, a mixed reality (MR) architectural extravaganza. 

Hyperbation: AA Zoo School is an architectural experiment located between physical and digital space, which expands the notions of hyperisation, gamification and hyperlocalisation. Following in a long tradition of wildly extravagant performance and carnival at the AA – typified by former School Director Alvin Boyarsky riding around Bedford Square on an Elephant in 1978 – AA Zoo School takes material from the AA’s Archive, collides it with a cast of virtual characters and juxtaposed multiple environments with the live events of the AA Graduation Ceremony and Projects Review, 22nd June 2018.

不列顛超級盛會 / HyperFest of Britain

    以第三次世界大戰後末世狀態的英國爲背景,2051年不列顛超級盛會是一個定位在倫敦南岸银禧花园(1951年不列顛節原址)的虛構建築項目。整個項目使用數字定位技術加上混合現實技術,在現實的廢墟上呈現出一場虛擬的盛會,企圖將英國歷史上著名的1851年萬國博覽會,1951年不列颠节以及2000年千禧年展的内容重新混合並重新創造出新的超級盛會以給予戰後沒落的英國人民虛擬(假)的鼓勵。

Settled in a post-war and post-apocalyptic Britain, the HyperFest of Britain 2051 is a fictional project hyperlocated on Jubilee Gardens, Southbank, London. Jubilee Gardens used to be the site for the original Festival of Britain 1951, but is partially flooded by Thames River in 2051. Apart from the minimum constructions for bridges and observation decks, the whole exhibition is “built” using geolocated mixed reality (hyperlocation) technology to create a virtual layer on the actual site with the Virtual Skylon overlaid on the exact position of the original Skylon as the trigger to activate the virtual exhibition.
