DAC Artists In Residency (DAIR)  is a multi-dimensional art research and exchange platform with \u201ccontemporary\u201d, \u201cexperimental\u201d, \u201clocality\u201d and \u201cpublicity\u201d. DAC is committed to materializing the symbiosis of art and society, facing the local social scene and cultural background under the context of the current era of international contemporary art environment to carry out cross-disciplinary, cross-media and interdisciplinary integration through researches on theoretical practices with open, innovative and experimental mindset.<\/p>

DAC continuously recruits and invites artists, curators, designers and other professionals from all over the world to Artists In Residency and provide months of local residence and works presentation opportunities. DAC helps all kinds of professionals carry out theoretical research in locality and practices in creation on this platform, exerting their creativity with freedom. \u81ea2013\u5e74\u6210\u7acb\u4ee5\u4f86\uff0c\u5341\u65b9\u85dd\u8853\u4e2d\u5fc3\u4e0d\u65b7\u7684\u4ee5\u958b\u653e\u7684\u614b\u5ea6\u63a2\u7d22\u624e\u6839\u4e2d\u570b\u73fe\u5834\u7684\u5de5\u4f5c\u65b9\u6cd5\uff0c\u4e26\u5617\u8a66\u8207\u5404\u65b9\u806f\u52d5\uff0c\u5171\u4fc3\u826f\u597d\u7684\u5b78\u8853\u751f\u614b\u3002\u5f9e2014\u5e74\u6301\u7e8c\u81f3\u4eca\u7684\u5341\u65b9\u570b\u969b\u85dd\u8853\u99d0\u7559\u8a08\u5283\uff08DAIR\uff09\u5f88\u597d\u7684\u8e10\u884c\u4e86\u9019\u4e00\u9ede\u3002\u7d93\u904e\u534a\u5e74\u7684\u7c4c\u5099\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u65bc2018\u5e74\u5553\u52d5\u4e86\u5341\u65b9\u9752\u5e74\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u8a08\u5283\u3002\u5341\u65b9\u9752\u5e74\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u5be6\u8e10\u8a08\u5283\u5305\u542b\u300c\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u99d0\u7559\u62db\u52df\u300d\u548c\u300c\u9752\u5e74\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u5c55\u89bd\u5be6\u8e10\u300d\u5169\u90e8\u5206\u3002<\/p>

\u300c\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u99d0\u7559\u62db\u52df\u300d\u8207\u539f\u6709\u7684\u570b\u969b\u99d0\u7559\u8a08\u5283\u76f8\u758a\u52a0\uff0c\u901a\u904e\u99d0\u7559\u5e73\u53f0\u7684\u516c\u958b\u62db\u52df\uff0c\u5438\u7d0d\u570b\u5167\u5916\u7684\u9752\u5e74\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u524d\u4f86\u99d0\u7559\uff0c\u4ee5\u7570\u5730\u8996\u89d2\u4f86\u958b\u5c55\u5728\u5730\u5be6\u8e10\u3002\u7d66\u672c\u571f\u85dd\u8853\u7fa4\u9ad4\u5e36\u4f86\u958b\u95ca\u7684\u8996\u91ce\u548c\u4e0d\u4e00\u6a23\u7684\u7b56\u5c55\u5de5\u4f5c\u65b9\u6cd5\u3002<\/p>

\u300c\u9752\u5e74\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u5c55\u89bd\u5be6\u8e10\u300d\u4ee5\u5341\u65b9\u570b\u969b\u85dd\u8853\u99d0\u7559\u8a08\u5283\u70ba\u5e73\u53f0\u5be6\u8e10\u8d77\u59cb\uff0c\u5728\u99d0\u7559\u5c55\u89bd\u6846\u67b6\u548c\u793e\u6703\u5be6\u8e10\u73fe\u5834\u4e0b\uff0c\u70ba\u9752\u5e74\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u63d0\u4f9b\u5b78\u8853\u6027\u5c55\u89bd\u7b56\u5283\u5be6\u8e10\u6a5f\u6703\u3002\u5728\u672c\u8a08\u5283\u4e2d\uff0c\u9752\u5e74\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u5f9e\u81ea\u8eab\u5b78\u8853\u89d2\u5ea6\u51fa\u767c\uff0c\u4ee5\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u99d0\u7559\u5275\u4f5c\u70ba\u6a23\u672c\u6848\u4f8b\uff0c\u4ee5\u300c\u57f7\u884c\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u300d\u6216\u300c\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u300d\u7684\u8eab\u4efd\uff0c\u9032\u884c\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u99d0\u7559\u5c55\u89bd\u7684\u7b56\u5283\u5be6\u8e10\u3002\u9752\u5e74\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u901a\u904e\u9762\u5c0d\u4e0d\u540c\u985e\u578b\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u548c\u85dd\u8853\u5c55\u89bd\uff0c\u5171\u540c\u76f4\u9762\u793e\u6703\u73fe\u5834\u8207\u5728\u5730\u6587\u5316\u8108\u7d61\uff0c\u9032\u884c\u8de8\u9818\u57df\u3001\u8de8\u5a92\u4ecb\u3001\u8de8\u5b78\u79d1\u7814\u7a76\u5be6\u8e10\u548c\u77e5\u8b58\u7a4d\u7d2f\uff0c\u9032\u800c\u4fc3\u9032\u5176\u81ea\u8eab\u5b78\u8853\u7406\u8ad6\u3001\u793e\u6703\u8a8d\u8b58\u3001\u7b56\u5c55\u5be6\u8e10\u80fd\u529b\u7684\u7d9c\u5408\u6027\u63d0\u5347\u3002<\/p>

\u85dd\u8853\u5c55\u89bd\u4f5c\u70ba\u85dd\u8853\u516c\u5171\u6027\u5448\u73fe\u7684\u8f09\u9ad4\uff0c\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u91cd\u9ede\u5728\u65bc\u5982\u4f55\u6709\u6548\u7684\u5efa\u7acb\u516c\u5171\u4ea4\u6d41\u8a9e\u5883\u548c\u85dd\u8853\u5167\u5bb9\u7684\u516c\u5171\u6027\u8f49\u5316\uff0c\u5f9e\u800c\u642d\u5efa\u85dd\u8853\u8207\u516c\u773e\u5c0d\u8a71\u7684\u6a4b\u6881\u3002\u901a\u5e38\u6210\u719f\u7b56\u5c55\u4eba\u5177\u5099\u7368\u7acb\u5b8c\u6574\u7684\u591a\u5b78\u79d1\u7406\u8ad6\u9ad4\u7cfb\u8207\u5ee3\u57df\u793e\u6703\u73fe\u5834\u7684\u8a8d\u77e5\u3002<\/p>

Since its establishment in 2013, Dimensions Art Center has continuously explored working methods rooted in Chinese society with an open attitude and tried to interact with all social sectors and promote a great academic ecology. DAC Artists In Residency (DAIR), which lasted from 2014 to the present, has realized the above ideology very well. After half a year of preparation, we launched DAC Emerging Curator Program\uff08DECP\uff09 in 2018. The DECP includes two parts: \u201cRecruitment of Curators in Residency\u201d and \u201cEmerging Young Curator for Exhibition Practice\u201d.<\/p>

The \u201cRecruitment of Curators in Residency\u201d was implemented jointly with the DAC Artists In Residency (DAIR) through the open recruitment of the residency platform to attract young curators from home and abroad to reside in and carry out the local on-site practice, to bring a broad vision and unique curatorial work methods to the local art community.<\/p>

The \u201cEmerging Young Curator for Exhibition Practice\u201d started with the DAC Artists In Residency (DAIR) practice platform. Under the framework of the residency exhibition and social practice, it provides young curators with academic exhibition curation opportunities. In this project, young curators, starting from their academic perspective, take artist-in-residence creations as sample cases, and carry out the planning and practice of exhibitions as \u201cexecutive curators\u201d or \u201ccurators.\u201d Young curators will face different types of artists and art exhibitions, face society and local culture together, conduct cross-field, cross-media, and cross-disciplinary research practice and knowledge accumulation, and then promote their academic theories and social cognition.\u00a0<\/p>

As the carrier of the public presentation of art, art exhibitions focus on effectively establishing the context of public communication and the public transformation of art content, to build a bridge between art and the public. \u5341\u65b9\u5275\u7814\u5e73\u53f0\u5f9e2015\u5e74\u958b\u59cb\u69cb\u5efa\u81f3\u4eca\uff0c\u5df2\u67095\u5e74\u6642\u9593\u3002\u5efa\u7acb\u4e4b\u521d\uff0c\u672c\u5e73\u53f0\u5c31\u7531\u91cd\u6176\u5e02\u4e5d\u9f8d\u5761\u5340\u6587\u65c5\u59d4\u63a8\u85a6\uff0c\u6210\u70ba\u4e5d\u9f8d\u5761\u5340\u79d1\u59d4\u6388\u724c\u7684\u6587\u5316\u985e\u773e\u5275\u7a7a\u9593\u3002\u5341\u65b9\u5275\u7814\u5e73\u53f0\u76ee\u524d\u5df2\u5408\u4f5c\u4e8660\u4f59\u4f4d\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u53ca\u8a2d\u8a08\u5e2b\uff0c\u652f\u630128\u500b\u7368\u7acb\u54c1\u724c\u5275\u696d\uff0c\u6709\u6210\u529f\uff0c\u4e5f\u6709\u5931\u6557\u3002\u5275\u7814\u5e73\u53f0\u6b77\u7d93\u521d\u671f\u5be6\u9a57\u3001\u6a5f\u5236\u5b8c\u5584\u3001\u7522\u696d\u6a21\u5f0f\u5275\u65b0\u767c\u5c553\u500b\u968e\u6bb5\uff0c\u5176\u9593\u4f34\u96a8\u8457\u5de5\u574a\u8ca0\u8cac\u4eba\u500b\u4eba\u53ca\u5718\u968a\u6210\u9577\uff0c\u5275\u696d\u516c\u53f8\u54c1\u724c\u5f9e\u7121\u5230\u6709\uff0c\u76ee\u524d\u672c\u5e73\u53f0\u9010\u6f38\u6210\u70ba\u4e00\u500b\u6587\u5275\u9818\u57df\u9ad8\u7cbe\u4eba\u624d\u805a\u96c6\u7684\u5b78\u8853\u7814\u7a76\u548c\u7522\u696d\u5171\u4fc3\u767c\u5c55\u7684\u751f\u614b\u5712\u3002<\/p>

DAC Culture Creation and Research Platform (DCCR) have been gradually developed for the past five years since 2015. At the beginning of its establishment, this platform was recommended and praised by the Culture and Tourism Commission of the Jiulongpo District of Chongqing City, and awarded by the Science and Technology Commission of the Jiulongpo District for its contributions for providing a cultural and creative center for the public. DCCR has so far cooperated with more than 60 artists and designers and has supported 28 independent brands to start their businesses. DCCR have gone through three stages of the initial experimental, model improvement, innovative development, accompanied by the growth of each studio leader\u2019s individual and team, and the time when the brand of the startup company was born from scratch.
