Juan’s creation starts from the discussion of the landscape, using the capture of the moment to recognize time and space, using the painting of trees to express yearning, using the most common fallen leaves to ask the meaning. Before coming to China, he began to experiment with watercolor painting,\u00a0and the arbitrary change of color on paper made him interested in the play of ink from Chinese painting. At the end of Juan’s short residency, artist would like to invite everyone to an open dialogue.<\/section>\n

Juan Manuel Rodr\u00edguez Arn\u00e1bal was born in 1980 in Uruguay, he has studied Fine Arts at University of the Republic of Uruguay, Montevideo and Master’s Degree in Painting at the University of the Basque Country, Bilbao, Spain. He was part of the Contemporary Art Foundation and assist in Carlos Capel\u00e1n’s workshop.<\/p>\n

In 2012, he obtained the First Prize MEC Acquisition of the 55th National Prize for Visual Arts \u201cWifredo D\u00edaz Vald\u00e9z\u201d, and the First Prize \u201cPrix Paul Cez\u00e1nne\u201d with a residency at Cit\u00e9 Internationale des Arts, Paris.<\/p>\n

\u4ed6\u5df2\u7d93\u8209\u8fa6\u4e869\u6b21\u500b\u4eba\u5c55\u89bd\uff0c\u5176\u4f5c\u54c1\u9084\u53c3\u52a0\u4e86\u5728\u5df4\u9ece\u548c\u8056\u4fdd\u7f85\u7b49\u8457\u540d\u535a\u7269\u9928\u548c\u570b\u969b\u6a5f\u69cb\u8209\u8fa6\u7684\u591a\u6b21\u7fa4\u5c55\u3002<\/p>\n
