\u6b63\u5982\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u70ba\u5c55\u89bd\u7684\u547d\u540d\u2014\u2014\u201c\u91cd\u91cd\u758a\u758a\u201d\uff0c\u9019\u4e0d\u50c5\u50c5\u5728\u63cf\u7e6a\u91cd\u6176\u9019\u5ea7\u7acb\u9ad4\u5f0f\u57ce\u5e02\u666f\u89c0\u7684\u76f4\u89c0\u5370\u8c61\uff0c\u66f4\u662f\u65b0\u820a\u4eba\u6587\u7684\u932f\u7d9c\u4ea4\u7e54\u3002\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u57283\u6708\u30015\u6708\u30017\u6708\u9032\u884c\u9593\u6b47\u5f0f\u3001\u968e\u6bb5\u6027\u7684\u99d0\u5730\u5275\u4f5c\u904e\u7a0b\u4e2d\uff0c\u5176\u5275\u4f5c\u4e5f\u5448\u73fe\u4e0d\u540c\u968e\u6bb5\uff0c\u5f9e\u5ba2\u89c0\u7684\u5beb\u5be6\u7d00\u9304\uff0c\u5230\u4e3b\u89c0\u7684\u62bd\u8c61\u611f\u53d7\u3002<\/p>\n

\u91cd\u6176\uff0c\u7a76\u7adf\u6703\u4ee5\u4f55\u7a2e\u9762\u8c8c\u627f\u63a5\u4ed6\u65e2\u6709\u7684\u6587\u5316\u5f35\u529b\uff1f<\/p>\n

\u9019\u500b\u7b54\u6848\u96e3\u4ee5\u76e1\u8ff0\uff0c\u66f4\u52a0\u4e0d\u6703\u5728\u4f5c\u54c1\u4e2d\u9053\u500b\u660e\u767d\uff0c\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u7d22\u6027\u653e\u958b\uff0c\u5728\u62bd\u8c61\u7684\u584a\u9762\u8207\u7b46\u89f8\u4e2d\u81ea\u7531\u8868\u9054\u8457\u5c0d\u9019\u5ea7\u57ce\u5e02\u666f\u8c61\u7684\u71b1\u60c5\u8207\u89f8\u52d5\u3002<\/p>\n

Wen Weihwa has multiple professional identities in the community, and her work touches on various fields such as education, architecture, ecology, culture, business marketing, etc. This is due to the fact that her life practice is dedicated to urban environmental education and social care, and she also holds a diversified and three-dimensional perspective on the city.\u00a0However, during this residency, Wen faced the city of Chongqing and chose to dialogue with it as a pure artist because of the blood-like nostalgia between her and Chongqing, formed by her father’s early military career.<\/section>\n
<\/section>\n
For the artist Wen Weihwa, Chongqing is a city of warmth but unfamiliarity. She has also visited Chongqing briefly, but the rapid modernisation and development of Chongqing has now become a far cry from the impression she remembers.\u00a0This time, in this modern mega-city, what makes the artist even more impressed is that Chongqing still retains a vivid scene of the original countryside life, which is exactly where the nostalgia belongs.<\/section>\n

As the artist named the exhibition – “Overlapping”, which is not only depicting the intuitive impression of the three-dimensional cityscape of Chongqing, but also the intertwining of old and new humanities. During the artist’s intermittent, staged residencies in March, May, and July, her creations show different stages, from objective realistic records to subjective abstract feelings.<\/section>\n

At first, as the artist walks through the city streets and alleys, the cityscape of Chongqing is represented in the images of the work as an impressionistic one; then, the horizontally truncated composition of the images expresses the tension and harmony between the modern and the original countryside life, which appears to be divided but is intrinsically unified in its existence.<\/section>\n

What will be the face of Chongqing to take up his established cultural tension?<\/section>\n

The answer is difficult to describe, and even more so, it will not be clear in the works. The artist simply lets go and freely expresses his passion and touch for the cityscape in the abstract blocks and brushstrokes.<\/section>\n

\u4e00\u500b\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u61c9\u8a72\u4e5f\u5177\u6709\u793e\u6703\u5b78\u5bb6\u7684\u60c5\u61f7\uff0c\u975e\u5b78\u9662\u7684\u7e6a\u756b\u601d\u8003\uff0c\u8b93\u6211\u66f4\u80fd\u60a0\u904a\u65bc\u8207\u793e\u6703\u6e9d\u901a\u4e4b\u521d\u5fc3\u3002<\/p>\n

My artistic enlightenment began with my father’s ink and wash paintings. Due to formal education, my life naturally transitioned into the realm of business marketing. Throughout this journey, I consistently used art and community as mediums for communication with both the masses and niche audiences. I also pioneered the integration of art education for school-age children into daily life.<\/p>\n

Environmental education and social concern have been the most significant practices in my life. The exploration of architecture, space, ecology, culture, and more through my work has become the nourishment for my current painting creations.<\/p>\n

I believe that an artist should also embody the spirit of a sociologist. The non-academic contemplation in my approach to painting allows me to navigate with ease in adhering to the original intention of communication with society.<\/p>\n
