通過藝術&社會項目的開展，十方在區域藝術生態構建、城市社區營造、傳統產業轉型、新農村建設、文化資源保護等方面實踐著藝術的力量。根據不同的項目類型，組建聯合專業工作團隊，團隊包括項目所需的各專業方向人才，如城市規劃、建築設計師，科學家，社會學者、民間手工藝人、藝術家、策展人、原住族群等，進而滿足項目的各方面專業需求，實現人才的跨界學習和協作。
The DAC art & society projects are designed to contribute to the development of the art and culture industry, shaping urban community life, transforming and upgrading traditional industries, and preserving cultural resources. Professionals such as urban planners, architects, scientists, sociologists, folk art craftsmen, artists, curators and local dwellers are recruited for those projects.
為了嘗試解決國內藝術系統資金鏈條不完整、不穩定的現狀，營造一個更加健全的生長性的藝術生態系統，十方藝術中心聯合重慶器空間、序空間共同發起了九龍坡區當代藝術發展基金會項目。
九龍當代藝術發展基金會是為促進九龍坡區當代藝術發展而設立的，主要針對藝術家創作、藝術機構發展以及藝術項目實現三個方面進行資助。基金會在為九龍坡區藝術家和藝術機構提供專業發展所需的基礎資金條件的同時，還將實現對九龍坡區現有藝術文化資源的有序梳理，扶持和反哺式的生態化機制將成為支撐區域藝術文化人群發展的永久性驅動力。
目前，基金會的構建工作正在持續落實中。
To address the problem of incomplete and unstable financial chain plaguing the arts and culture industry, DAC established Jiulongpo District Contemporary Arts Development Foundation together with two local arts organizations - Chongqing Organhaus and Xu Space.
Jiulongpo CADF is founded to boost the development of contemporary arts in Jiulongpo District. The fund is dedicated to supporting artists, arts organizations based in Jiulongpo, and optimizing the arts and culture resources available in the area, and facilitating the operation of arts organizations that can make financial contributions to the Fund in return. It is hoped that this Foundation can infuse a long term driving force for the career development of the creative professionals based in Jiulongpo District.
Currently, the Foundation is in earnest preparation.
在城鄉二元化日益嚴重的中國社會現場，鄉村的凋零拷問著文化立本尋根的大歷史命題，作為中國腹地的文化藝術機構，無法忽略這一重大的在地性使命。
巴渝民宿公司是重慶市國土局政府平台公司，其所設立的「扶貧類民宿」是為了改善農村高山區域建卡貧困戶的生活處境而設計，該項目為2016年重慶市重點項目。十方藝術中心與中海華藝城市規劃設計團隊、鄉土建築和工業遺產研究中心一起，經過長期的駐村調研，深入貧困鄉村現場，真切瞭解貧困鄉民的生活處境，分析研究如何通過藝術文化內容的植入，結合旅遊生態、互聯網模式為閒置土地租售轉型為創新動力，努力幫助貧困原住民實現真正的脫貧。參與巴渝民宿扶貧民宿的模式研究項目是十方藝術中心作為藝術機構主體，嘗試借力政府平台進入鄉村現場的一次大膽實踐，目前，該項目正在穩步推進中。
The great split between the city and the country widens. The decline of the countryside is an erosion into the cultural foundation of the Chinese nation. As a local arts organization, DAC regards addressing this issue effectively one of its missions.
Bayu BNB is a corporation owned by the Land and Resources Bureau of Chongqing Municipality. Its “Poverty-alleviation Homestay Project” is a key project of Chongqing in the year of 2016. It is designed to improve the living conditions of the poor rural households dwelling in the high mountains. Dimensions Art Center, together with China Overseas Huayi Urban Planning & Design Company Ltd and Folk Architecture and Industrial Heritage Research Center rented or bought the discarded houses and desolated lands of the villagers, and have them redesigned and refurbished with artistic expressions that best sell the local landscape, climate, and living styles. Then through internet and other media, these redesigned and refurbished houses are marketed as homestays. For DAC, to participate in the project is a brave step in entering the rural creative market with the help of the government. Currently, this project is making steady progress.
在針對城市發展進程中區域文化生態面臨破壞的問題展開的搶救行動中，十方藝術中心與中海華藝城市規劃設計團隊、鄉土建築和工業遺產研究中心一起，參與重慶九龍半島的城市規劃與文創模式研究，梳理文化藝術與產業發展的核心邏輯，進而給出系統性的既能留住原有文化生態又能解決區域發展需求的文創激活思路。通過努力搶救，最終使九龍半島從政府最初規劃的「總部商務區」定位，轉變為「藝術文創旅遊區」，助力區域發展避免大面積拆遷重建的思路，使得黃桷坪美院周邊的藝術區、工業遺產、在地藝術社群與原住民社群的綜合生態得以繼續存續。
本項目榮獲2015年重慶市規劃和測繪科技進步獎三等獎。
To save local cultural heritage from the destruction caused by urbanization, Dimensions Art Center, together with experts from China Overseas Huayi Urban Planning & Design Company Ltd. and Folk Architecture and Industrial Heritage Research Center, researched on the Jiulong Peninsula urban planning and cultural and creative industry development strategy, which pinned down the fundamentals of development of the cultural and creative industry, and comes up with practical and innovative solutions. Thanks to their efforts, Jiulong peninsula area is to be transformed into an tourist attraction of the cultural and creative industry rather than “a business center for enterprise headquarters” as it was previously designed. In this way, the practice of developing a city at the expense of massive demolition and reconstruction was stopped, and the art zone around Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Huangjueping , the industrial heritage, local art communities are preserved.
This project is granted the third prize of 2015 CQ Urban Planning and Mapping Science and Technology Progress Award.
2014年，隨著國內產業轉型的趨勢日趨嚴峻，為與九龍坡區區域發展文創戰略相匹配，重慶市供銷合作總社和北京市供銷合作總社聯合運作，探索重慶老舊遺存和文化創意產業相結合的可能性。我們與華藝規劃設計團隊一起，就棉麻倉庫的建築形態和物理空間的設計、後續產業設計和運營管理展開系統探索。
最終，為適應不同規模、種類的產業入駐需求，我們輸出了以「空間生長」為核心理念的物理空間設計理念，為項目方在前期構建階段避免在室內裝修上的盲目投入，同時，為後續入駐企業針對性設計室內空間。此外，我們結合項目方自身優勢和重慶本土人才優勢，在產業設計上將其定義為一個以影視後期製作，數字音樂製作，創意設計為主的藝術文化創意園。
In 2014, pushed by the need for industry transformation and inspired by the development of the cultural and creative industry in Jiulongpo District, CQFSMC and BJFSMC cooperated to explore the possibility of preserving the old relics of Chongqing while developing the cultural and creative industry. Together with Huayi Designing, DAC worked on the Cotton Warehouse’s architectural and interior design. The two organizations also worked together to map out the creative industries that will be allowed to operate in the Warehouse, and its operation and management system.
DAC successfully produced a design concept featuring “ growing space”, which helps reducing wasteful investment in interior decoration at the early construction stage. We also provide customized interior design service for enterprises taking residence at the warehouse. Considering the industry strength of the proprietors and the abundant professional human resources of Chongqing, we defined industries to be introduced into the warehouse as post-production, digital music production and creative design.
