Seeking Truth in Fantasy

對我而言這是一次非常值得討論的個展，其邏輯是通過對“幻象”和“真實”的關係進行討論而展開的。最近這段時期對所有人來說，如夢幻一般卻又真實發生著一場重要的轉變。經歷這些，我們也重新發掘了人性中的力量。

It is a very worthwhile solo exhibition, which is developed by discussing the relationship between “illusion” and “reality”. After all of these, we have been reminded of the power of human nature.

藝術的呈現是顯現、具象的。

孰真？

藝術的創作卻是不可見、抽象的。

孰幻？

賀浩然在十方藝術機構獨自待了半年，創意卻在一念之間。

The presentation of art is manifest and concrete.

So is it real?

The process of art creation is invisible and abstract.

Is it unreal?

Haoran He has been alone at DAC for half a year, his idea flickered in a flash.

藝術是什麼？

藝術在哪裡沉默著？

藝術家思考體會，念念相續，種種取捨，循環往復。生命就是我們當下的感受和覺悟，一切皆為我自圓其說，最難忘。

What is art?

Where is art hiding?

The artist always hovered over thoughts, feelings, choices and circulations.

Life is all about our current feelings and consciousness. Everything is justified by ourselves , which is never changed.

Text by the Artist

世界是流動的，像風一樣，自由的流溢。

彙聚一方，逗留片刻，分道揚鑣，銷聲匿跡。

有時風很快，快到看不見記不清。有時風很慢，慢到像山一樣堅實。

風來時，臨陣似秋，站得定定。風去了，回首來處，已然模糊。

往事如風，風生風息。

每個人都像一淵深谷，灌滿了風，風中載著形形色色的記憶，拂起每粒微土，纏纏綿綿，期期艾艾，在谷底連成低語的長城。閉眼觀絲繁入微，定睛看無色無形。

世界如風，風可摧崩。

每個人都像捕風童子，追逐著風，風尾拖著若隱若現的遐想，無意動了心弦，蓄勢待發，醍醐灌頂，在心中燃起明滅的火焰。大風起思緒萬千，大風落萬籟俱寂。

It’s flowing everywhere, freely Like the wind.

Gathering, wandering, leaving, then farewell.

It’s too swift to catch. it’s too slow as it’s already there since the beginning.

Sometimes, sometimes.

It comes like war.

It fades like shadow.

It’s in the past, which is never past.

Deep in the valley, full of it, spreading the stories, carrying the earth, Builds the wall which is made of whisper, stammer and sigh.

It’s inside if you are abstracted, it’s gone if you are awake.

It’s everywhere, and leads the crumbling.

Kids chasing it, begging for the stolen dreams. Once flipped, bowstring tightened, eyes sparkled, then desire creeps secretly, then it goes rage. It’s everywhere.

The war is coming, with its steps.

The singer is gone, with its last curtain call.

賀浩然， 1993 生於中國重慶

2016年畢業於上海海事大學航海技術專業

He Haoran, born in Chongqing, China, 1993.

2016 graduated from Shanghai Maritime University, major in Navigation Technology.
