關於本次駐留|About Residency:
【2024.12.29 – 2025.1.5】
藝術家伊藤乃愛關注傳統繪畫與語言的讀解與再創作。從對文人畫的觀看、讀解、轉譯到描摹,這一過程中既有對原作者本意的揣測也有對藝術家自我念頭的讀解。作品通過簡單的形式使得歷史、現實、語言及自我都可以在創作中有所尋覓與表現。在這次短暫駐留的尾聲,藝術家想要邀請大家來進行一場開放的交流。
在我以“描摹文人畫”為手段的持續創作約一年的這一系列中,我一直在嘗試將文人畫中作為文字的詩作剝離,從而繪製僅保留圖像軌跡的作品。在此過程中,每當我以日本人身份直面文人畫傳統时,我都能深切地感受到中日兩國綿延千載的文化羈絆——的確如此,畢竟這份羈絆深刻到连“日本”國名的表記都承襲自漢字體系。為了深入理解這種關聯,我認為在中國重慶的這次駐留尤為重要。
於我而言,這是一次結合研究與展覽的長期駐留初體驗。我將在重慶這座前沿與傳統無休止交融著的城市裏,繼續著我的描摹。而關於此次的駐留展覽,我將帶來平日裏於日本創作的作品,與此次在重慶駐留創作的作品一同展出。
此外,我還計劃將我此次的駐留經歷整理為一份綜合報告,並將其爭取提交至《美學與藝術史研究室學報》以考慮發表。我希望這份文獻能夠對反映駐留創作經驗以及展示對訪問地的觀察成果有所幫助。
In a series that I have been working on for about a year, I have been drawing that separate the characters of literati paintings and poetry axes and just trace only the pictures. Whenever I stand as a Japanese person, not to mention a literati painting, I have to be aware of the long-standing relationship between China and Japan (so much so that the country’s name, 日本, is also attached to the Chinese perspective). The experience of staying in Chongqing is important to me. I want to keep thinking about these things.
And for me, this is the first experience of a long-term residency with research and exhibition. I will continue tracing something in Chongqing, a city where the latest and the past mix relentlessly. For the exhibition, Iʼm bring the works I usually draw in Japan and exhibit them with those works I created in Chongqing.
Furthermore, I intend to systematically consolidate my residency experiences into a comprehensive report, which I shall endeavor to submit for publication consideration in the Journal of Aesthetics and Art History Laboratory. I hope this document will synthesize observations from this long-term residency and the places I’ve visited.
